About The Stand on G                       Street

In 2006, Bob Evans closed his nursery on Elkhorn Boulevard and retired. After selling most of the plants typically planted in the Sacramento area, we were left with many subtropical plants and flowering bananas. In 2007 and  2008, we built the walls, did the stone work, and planted this subtropical Garden. In 2015, we added the Bamboo. Last year, he went to buy garden plants and found them very expensive, so we are growing them for gardeners at a reasonable, affordable price.
